Michelle graduated from the University of Nebraska Omaha with a degree in journalism. Prior to joining the Cruise & Associates team in September 2019, she spent eight years working as a newspaper reporter and later served as the communications coordinator for a public school system for 20 years.
Michelle has been involved with the TeamMates Mentoring Program since it began in Columbus and is currently on her fifth mentee match. She also volunteers with Platte Valley Literacy and is passionate about supporting her local community.
Michelle has been married to Rob for 28 years, and together they have two sons, one serving in the United States Marine Corps and the other attending Concordia College.
In her free time, Michelle enjoys attending her children’s activities, going to the theater, and spending time with family and friends. She is also a huge UNO Maverick Hockey fan.
